Mr. Darbyshire trained as an artist, served in the U.S. Air Force, and retired from Lockheed Aircraft Corp. after almost 40 years, most of which was spent in the ‘Black World’ of the ‘Skunkworks’.
Mr. Darbyshire works in oil, watercolor, and pencil. His choice of subject is by interest, and for commissioned works. Mr. Darbyshire is a member of ASAA and serves on local community art jury.
